Where is this? - Trevor Abbott

The physical region
This place is surrounded by mountains mostly on the back with the west coast in front of it. This place falls under the coast mountain region on the west coast of B.C. The mountains are covered mostly in evergreen trees. There are deciduous trees as well. There are quite a few lakes in the area as well.

climate
July and August are the hottest months between 15 and 23 C., and in August the water is the hottest but it’s only 15 C.  

100 kilometer perimeter
This place is an hour out of Vancouver 47 minutes from Whistler. It is in the middle of them, with Vancouver on the right and Whistler on the left.

Population and Culture
From the last census taken in this place was 2011 and at the time the p were the ones who gave this place it’s name. The meaning of this places name is “Mother of the wind” in Coastal Salish. The Europeans arrived in the 18th century and tared with the natives.

Leisure
There are many fun and popular this to do and greatly attract people who love outdoors and adventures. There are lots of places to go hiking with all the parks around. Lakes to swim in that waterfalls to see such as Shannon falls which are this the third highest waterfall in B.C. It has good fishing the lakes or ocean. One of it’s most popular attraction would be the Chief. Rock climbers from all over come to climb here.  

Economy
This area place is built on terrorism and business.

Ecosystem
The ecosystems that could have being lost due to this place being populated to an urban area, could be animals that lived in the forest before it was cut down. The course the river might take might be affected because of the manmade barriers to keep the river from eroding the banks.
